Can’t Fly to See BTS ARIRANG? K-Pop Boy Band’s World Tour is Coming to Indian Cinemas — Here’s How ARMYs Can Watch Tour Live!

Indian ARMYs may not have BTS’s ARIRANG World Tour stopping in the country, but they are definitely getting a chance to experience the global tour on the big screen.

Yes, you read that right. Live cinema broadcasts of BTS’s Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo concerts are coming to theaters across India, giving fans a way to watch the shows in real time with a large-screen and premium audio experience.

The Buenos Aires concert will be screened in India on Oct. 25, 2026, while the Sao Paulo performance will arrive in cinemas on Oct. 31. Show timings will vary depending on the city and venue.

Tickets for the screenings went on sale on Sept. 18 through BookMyShow and PVR INOX, as part of a much larger global cinema rollout covering more than 3,700 theaters across over 85 territories.

BTS ARIRANG Comes to More Than 20 Indian Cities

For Indian fans, the cinema broadcasts carry particular significance because India is not included on the current ARIRANG World Tour concert route.

That means fans who cannot travel overseas for the tour have limited opportunities to experience the performances as they happen. The cinema screenings are designed to bridge that gap, allowing ARMYs in India to join fans around the world without having to leave the country.

HYBE, BIGHIT MUSIC and Trafalgar Releasing have partnered with PVR INOX to bring selected ARIRANG concerts to audiences in more than 20 Indian cities.

Instead of watching a concert recording at home, fans will be able to gather in theaters and experience the performances collectively. For a fandom known for organizing large-scale gatherings around BTS releases and events, the communal aspect could be just as important as the concert itself.

PVR INOX Highlights the Rise of Experiential Cinema

PVR INOX has positioned the BTS broadcasts as part of a wider shift toward experiential moviegoing, where audiences are looking for events that offer something beyond a traditional film screening.

Aamer Bijli, Lead Specialist at PVR INOX, told Bollywood Hungama, “At PVR INOX, we are constantly pushing the boundaries of what the cinema experience can be. BTS is more than just a musical act; they are a global phenomenon that resonates deeply with Gen Z and millennial audiences.”

“By bringing the ‘Arirang’ tour to our screens, we are providing a communal space for fans to celebrate their idols with the best-in-class sound and visual technology that only a theatre can provide. We are also seeing a strong shift towards experiential cinema, where audiences are seeking immersive, shared experiences beyond traditional film viewing,” Bijli added.

The comments reflect the growing role of cinemas as venues for concerts, fan events and other live entertainment experiences. For BTS, the format also gives fans who cannot attend the tour physically an opportunity to participate in the excitement alongside fellow ARMYs.

Previous BTS Cinema Screenings Saw Strong Demand

The upcoming South American broadcasts are not the first ARIRANG events to reach Indian theaters.

Earlier cinema broadcasts of BTS’s Goyang, Tokyo and Busan concerts attracted significant interest from Indian fans. The Goyang screening reportedly reached 54% occupancy at the time bookings launched, while PVR INOX has also reported repeated sell-outs for previous BTS-related events.

In some cases, additional screenings have been added to accommodate demand.

The response has highlighted the scale of BTS’s Indian audience, particularly among Gen Z viewers, urban professionals and K-pop fans. While the group has not included India on the ARIRANG live concert itinerary, the cinema rollout provides a different way for the country’s ARMY community to participate in the tour.

Global Tour Following BTS’ No. 1 Album

The ARIRANG World Tour follows BTS’s March 2026 release of their fifth studio album, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

The tour itself is an expansive global production, spanning 88 dates across 34 cities in 23 countries. Among its major visual features is a 360-degree stage design, alongside elements inspired by traditional Korean culture.

The South American concerts in Buenos Aires and São Paulo form another major chapter in the tour’s international schedule. For Indian ARMYs, however, those performances will take on a slightly different form, playing out on cinema screens thousands of miles away from the actual venues.

The two upcoming broadcasts will also bring the number of ARIRANG tour live-viewing events available to Indian audiences to five, following screenings connected to the Goyang, Tokyo and Busan concerts.

When Can Indian ARMYs Watch?

Fans will be able to catch the Buenos Aires concert on October 25 and the São Paulo concert on October 31, with exact screening times varying by location.

Tickets are available through BookMyShow and PVR INOX, with participating theaters spread across more than 20 Indian cities.

For ARMYs who have been waiting for a chance to experience the ARIRANG era together, the cinema screenings offer more than simply a substitute for a stadium seat.

With thousands of fans expected to gather in theaters around the country, the broadcasts could turn BTS’s South American tour stops into shared local events, bringing the energy of the ARIRANG World Tour to Indian screens even without an India stop on the official tour itinerary.
